If you have a solid, stable career history, strong business development capabilities and consistent billings, then you have an excellent chance of securing something and, whether you want to work in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide or across the water in Aukland or Christchurch in New Zealand, then our partner has the contacts required to offer you the opportunity you are seeking.

What are the practicalities of getting a job down under?
There is a possibility of securing a role prior to leaving the UK or alternatively you could have your first interview completed prior to departure and your second confirmed for when you arrive down under. Much will depend on the level of your experience and the level of ‘match’ between you and the client company.

What about visas etc.?
If you are under the age of 31 then you are entitled to a 'Working Holiday Visa'. This is a 12 month visa that allows you to work for an employer for up to 6 months.
To guarantee a permanent stay you will require a '457 Business Sponsorship Visa'. Sponsorship can be arranged either prior to you leaving the UK or when you are physically in Australia.
It is also possible to commence employment holding a 'Working Holiday Visa' and then secure a '457 Business Sponsorship Visa' after 3-6 months of employment. There is no break in employment whilst the new Visa' is being processed and you do NOT need to leave the country during the cross over in status.

The criteria for a ‘457 Business Sponsorship Visa’ is as follows:
- With a tertiary qualification (University Degree), one years recruitment experience.
- Without a tertiary qualification (University Degree), 5 years recruitment experience.
(A partner, husband, wife and children can be attached to your '457 Business Sponsorship Visa'.)

What about timescales?
Whether you are looking to relocate immediately or are planning to do so in six months time, our partner can help you. The interview process generally takes two to three weeks and, if you are properly prepared with a well written CV detailing not just what you ‘do’ but what you have ‘achieved’ (i.e. sales targets set and achieved etc.), then this will certainly speed the process along.
