About Us

Leah Ley-WilsonLeah Ley-Wilson has operated at the heart of the Scottish Recruitment industry for more than nineteen years.  As founder of the company that bears her name, she opened the first specialist Recruitment to Recruitment business in Scotland and has never looked back.  Her company is run on a clear set of values, at the heart of which is her personal approach, an ability to do what she says she is going to do and a deep knowledge of the movers and shakers in the Scottish Recruitment industry.  Building trust is the thing Leah most cares about and the positive personal interaction she has with her clients and candidates lies at the heart of her everyday work.

Leah’s Recruitment career has seen her working as a Temp and Perm Consultant through to Business Development Manager and Regional Manager within a variety of sectors.  In 1999 she then took the plunge and started her own business.  Her particular skills are in forming sales strategies, building business through new business development and creating growth. She has recruited for staff at all levels within a wide range of industries and professions and it is this broad experience that enables her to understand her Recruitment Consultancy clients’ needs today.

With a deep love of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, when she’s not in the yoga studio or out running, Leah will spend her leisure time heading out into the wilder parts of the countryside and, in the summer, can often be found with her husband exploring the remote and spectacular coastlines of Scotland’s west coast in her kayak.  Inverness is home but she loves the regular trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow, not just for the shopping, but to get out and about meeting the many clients and candidates that help make Leah Ley-Wilson Recruitment what it is.

Little known fact:  In her twenties, Leah’s husband whisked the family off to spend three years living one and a half miles off the road in a tiny croft house by the sea in the far north west coast.  New baby, no telephone, no vehicle access, wind whistling through the front door, access by sea or walking the hill, wildlife, adventures galore and stories to tell for a lifetime.
