This is a great opportunity to move your Resourcing recruitment experience into the lucrative IT sector. If you have held a resourcing role within any of the following sectors then your application will be strongly considered: Accountancy/Finance, Legal, Engineering and of course IT.

Due to the volume of business our client is seeking a Resourcing Consultant to join their IT Contract team.  You don’t necessarily have to have resourced for IT roles but it is important that you have some experience in other sectors.  This Consultancy is renowned both for the quality of their service and for the depth of their knowledge of the IT sector and for anyone seeking to work for a first class consultancy and wanting a chance to build a great career then this opportunity should tick all your boxes.

No direct sales required but providing a first-class recruitment support service is a ‘must’.  Your key task is to enable your Consultants and Team Leaders etc. to achieve their business objectives as required.  As Resourcing Consultant you will be liaising with both clients and candidates and while you are not expected to know everything at the start, you will certainly be someone who is keen and quick to learn so that you will soon get up to speed.  Alternatively, you may have IT Recruitment Consultancy experience and would now feel happier in a Resourcing role.

To work efficiently and effectively you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

    Good communication, both written and verbal
    Ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders and exceed customers’ expectations
    You will have a minimum of 6 month’s experience of working in a recruitment agency
    Searching for candidates on social media, blogging and contributing to user forums will all be a part of the role
    Happy working in a fast-paced environment
    Passionate about your work
    Resilient, proactive and keen to take ownership of tasks
    Adaptable and open to change as required
    Works well with colleagues and builds rapport
    Naturally follows up opportunities
