Our client is a successful Oil & Gas Recruitment Consultancy who currently has a recruitment role working onsite for one of their major clients. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience of recruiting for Engineering roles within Oil and Gas, and if you have subsea recruitment experience my client would be particularly interested.
Working within a team environment you will be responsible for placing a huge variety of roles that might include, for example; Subsea positions, IT and Technology, HR and Admin roles and more. The role is heavily admin lead, with tracking systems that must be adhered to and qualifying the roles with the hiring managers will be a key part of the job. In addition, you will be helping to identify the best candidates, organizing interviews and passing details of successful candidates onto HR. The right personality fit for this position would be someone who is a self-starter, determined, a great communicator and a master at building trust and rapport with the client. This is a hands-on recruitment role.

Other characteristics which will stand you in good stead for making a success of this opportunity are excellent writing skills, good advertising knowledge, ability to converse with other vendor consultancies, multi-tasking and a willingness to learn and to put yourself out there. However, our client recognizes of course that no one can know everything, and they are well known for supporting their people by providing excellent and ongoing training as you need it. There is also a lucrative commission structure in place.
Based from Montrose, between Stonehaven and Dundee, you will need to be able to drive too.
